THC & CBD values
Cactus Jack has a high THC content, usually between 22% and 27%, which provides a long-lasting, clear and energetic effect that is ideal for daytime use. The CBD content is relatively low at under 1%, making the strain particularly appreciated for its psychoactive effects. Its strong cerebral effect makes it a popular choice for creative minds looking for a euphoric and inspiring high, while the combination of cannabinoids and terpenes promotes a pleasant mental clarity without being sluggish or overwhelming. The effect lasts for several hours and is ideal for productive or social activities.
Cactus Jack Terpene
Cactus Jack's terpene blend is responsible for its refreshing aroma and energising effect. This combination of terpenes enhances the mental effects and makes the strain an ideal choice for creative and productive activities.
- Limonene - This terpene is responsible for the strong citrus flavours in Cactus Jack, which has a mood-enhancing, stress-reducing and refreshing effect.
- Pinene - Provides a woodsy freshness with a hint of pine. It can promote concentration and has anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to give the strain a clear, focussed high.
- Caryophyllene - Gives the strain a spicy flavour and can have a calming effect on the body. This terpene interacts with the endocannabinoid system and helps to reduce stress and anxiety.
- Terpinolene - A rarer but potent terpene with a floral, slightly sweet aroma, it enhances the energising effects of Cactus Jack and contributes to its uplifting effects.
Thanks to this terpene combination, Cactus Jack offers an intense flavour experience and a long-lasting, activating effect.

Fitting instructions for Cactus Jack
Choose the growing location
Cactus Jack can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Indoors you have control over the light and climate, while outdoors it thrives best in a warm, sunny climate with low humidity.
Prepare the soil
Use well-aerated, nutrient-rich soil with a pH value between 6.0 and 7.0. Organic additives such as worm compost or bat guano support growth and improve the plant's resilience.
Sow the seeds or plant the seedlings
Allow the seeds to germinate in moist kitchen paper or water until roots are visible, then plant them about 1-2 cm deep in the prepared soil.
Ensure the right light conditions
Cactus Jack needs plenty of light to develop its full potency. Indoor LED or HPS lamps are ideal with an 18/6 hour light cycle in the growth phase and 12/12 in the flowering phase. Outdoors, the plant should receive at least 8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
Monitor temperature and humidity
Keep the temperature between 22-28°C during the day and not below 18°C at night. Humidity should be kept at 50-60% during the growth phase and lowered to 40-50% during the flowering phase to prevent mould growth.
Water regularly
Water the plants evenly, but avoid waterlogging. Wait until the top layer of soil is dry before watering again. If possible, use filtered or pH-neutral water to prevent nutrient blockages.
Optimise the nutrient supply
During the growth phase, Cactus Jack needs nitrogen-rich fertilisers. In the flowering phase, you should reduce the nitrogen and increase the supply of phosphorus and potassium to promote flower formation.
Train the plants (optional)
Use low-stress training (LST) or other techniques to control growth and maximise yields. This distributes the light evenly across all the flowers.
Pay attention to the flowering time
Cactus Jack has a flowering time of around 9-10 weeks. Check the trichomes with a magnifying glass - if they are milky white, the optimum harvest time has been reached.
Harvest and dry the flowers
Carefully cut off the flowers and hang them up in a well-ventilated, dark room with a humidity of around 50 %. After 7-14 days, they are ready for curing to develop their full flavour.
